Head of Financial Accounting

The Company is seeking a Head of Financial Accounting to take on a diverse management role. The successful candidate will be responsible for the professional and disciplinary leadership of the finance and accounting team, which currently consists of 12 employees. Key responsibilities include the preparation of financial statements in accordance with German Commercial Code and Swiss GAAP, as well as the management of financial reporting, and liquidity. The role also involves participation in the migration to SAP S/4HANA and the digitalization of retail operations, making experience in this area highly valuable. Applicants for the Head of Financial Accounting position at the company should have a degree in business administration, with a preference for IHK-certified accountants, and at least 5 years' of professional experience in finance, including some initial management experience. The role requires a candidate with a strong background in financial statement preparation, excellent communication, social, and leadership skills, and a strategic, results-oriented approach to financial management. Proficiency in English is essential, and experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications is also necessary. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, hands-on individual with a holistic and strategic approach to financial planning and management.
