Deputy Head of Financial Accounting

The Company is in search of a Deputy Head of Financial Accounting to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the Head of Financial Accounting and will be involved in the independent management and accounting of smaller companies and clients. This includes deputizing for the Head in day-to-day operations, coordinating the onboarding and professional guidance of the accounting team, and providing administrative and organizational support. The role also involves further developing and digitizing financial and accounting processes, reconciling intercompany transactions, and preparing both monthly and annual financial statements. Applicants for the Deputy Head of Financial Accounting position at the company should have a completed degree in business administration, economics, or a comparable commercial qualification, with a focus on accounting. A strong background in financial accounting, including the preparation of financial statements, is essential. The ideal candidate will have several years' of professional experience in the field, be proficient in Microsoft 365, particularly Excel and Word, and have experience with common accounting and ERP systems. A structured, reliable, and meticulous work ethic, along with a high degree of initiative, responsibility, and organizational skills, is required.
