Assistant Vice President, Modernization, Middle & Large Business

The Company is in search of an Assistant Vice President for Modernization within its Middle and Large Business division. The successful candidate will be a seasoned transformation leader, responsible for a portfolio of modernization initiatives aimed at simplifying business operations, modernizing the underwriting experience, and enhancing the platforms that support these processes. This role demands a strategic thinker who can partner with cross-functional teams to define and execute a modernization roadmap, with a focus on delivering measurable business outcomes. The AVP will also be tasked with leading a high-performing product team, driving process simplification, and spearheading data and AI enablement to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the business. Applicants must have a minimum of 12 years' experience in transformation, modernization, strategy, product management, operations, or consulting, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, enterprise-wide programs. The role requires a leader with a strong blend of strategy and execution, capable of influencing senior executives and driving decisions in a complex organizational environment. Experience in commercial insurance, particularly in underwriting, product, operations, distribution, or technology, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background in agile product management, be adept at simplifying complex processes, and have a strong analytical skill set to support data-driven decision-making. The AVP will be expected to operate effectively in ambiguity, lead change management, and ensure the sustained adoption of modernization initiatives.
