Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its strategic development in collaboration with the board. The CEO will guide an expert team, oversee overall operations and finances, and represent the organization in advocacy efforts at national and EU levels. Responsibilities include developing member services and advocacy initiatives to support industry competitiveness and growth, while building relationships with member companies, authorities, and domestic and international partners. The role combines strategic leadership, network development, and hands-on advocacy in a changing operating environment. Candidates should have a suitable university degree and strong experience in people management and developing expert organizations. They should bring a track record in lobbying or other advocacy work, financial management and budget responsibility, and the ability to lead long-term organizational development. Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills are required, along with fluent Finnish and English; Swedish is an advantage. Knowledge of the relevant industry and experience with EU-level advocacy are also valued.
