Associate Vice President, Specialist, Operations Journey Optimization, Technology & Operations Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Specialist in Operations Journey Optimization within the Technology and Operations division. The successful candidate will be tasked with the critical role of analyzing, designing, and implementing optimized end-to-end processes across various banking functions. This includes the seamless integration of AI-based solutions to enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. The role involves in-depth analysis of existing processes, identification of inefficiencies, and the design and implementation of automation solutions. The specialist will also be responsible for championing the adoption of AI, leading process improvement workshops, and partnering with business units and IT to ensure that proposed solutions align with business objectives and technical capabilities. Applicants must have a minimum of 6-7 years' of experience in project management, journey optimization, and change management, with a strong background in banking operations, processes, products, systems, and the regulatory environment. The role requires exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in process improvement methodologies. A degree in a relevant field is essential, and professional certifications in project management, AI, or machine learning are advantageous. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading cross-functional strategic initiatives, be adept at influencing and collaborating with stakeholders, and have the ability to independently manage multiple projects with a high level of attention to detail. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, as well as experience with programming languages for data analysis and automation, is also preferred.
