Vice President, Operations Risk Governance, Operations Greater Hong Kong Area

The Company is in search of a Vice President for Operations Risk Governance within the Operations Division. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining a robust divisional risk and controls governance framework to ensure sound business practices and compliance with policies. This role involves streamlining business processes, conducting reviews of key controls, and recommending corrective actions. The VP will also be tasked with measuring and communicating the success of business initiatives, standardizing risk dashboards, and managing strategic projects with a focus on operational risk events and root cause analysis. Applicants must be degree holders in finance, accounting, or business administration, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in related fields. Strong business acumen, particularly in financial markets and operational risk management, is preferred. The role requires superior judgment, professionalism, and strong business ethics, as well as proven project management skills and the ability to work across multiple stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be proactive, dependable, and a strong team player, with the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment. Technological proficiency, particularly in Microsoft tools, and an excellent command of English are essential, with proficiency in Cantonese and/or Putonghua being a plus.
