Head of Collateral Management

The Company is seeking a Head of Collateral Management to lead a team responsible for the daily oversight of collateral management activities. The successful candidate will ensure that margin payments and receipts are processed in compliance with a range of industry standards and internal service requirements. This role involves managing the full margin lifecycle, including the issuance, validation, and resolution of margin calls, as well as overseeing collateral settlements across various asset classes. The Head of Collateral Management will also be involved in driving reconciliations, acting as a representative in new product approval initiatives, and leading system enhancement projects. A key focus is on identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention. Applicants for the Head of Collateral Management position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in banking operations, with at least 5 years specifically in collateral management. A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, along with a deep understanding of OTC derivatives, repo, and securities lending. The role demands in-depth knowledge of key legal documents such as ISDA/CSA, GMRA, and GMSLA, and the ability to monitor and manage various risk indicators. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, system enhancement, and process optimization, and must be fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. The Head of Collateral Management will also be responsible for regulatory and management reporting, and must be adept at producing and presenting key performance and risk metrics.
