The Company is seeking a Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to play a pivotal role in the development of a strong wealth management franchise with a focus on research-led advisory. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing consistent and actionable investment guidance, defining macro house views, and strategic asset allocation to support customer portfolios. This role involves leveraging and localizing investment research, as well as serving as the external investment spokesperson for the Bank. The CIO will also chair the Investment Committee, lead innovation in investment strategies, and ensure robust risk governance. Applicants for the CIO position at the company should be university graduates, preferably in business, asset management, or economics, with over 15 years' experience in investment research or asset management. A proven track record in a similar capacity, particularly in the past 5 years, is essential. The role requires strong analytical and presentation skills, the ability to provide portfolio insights, and a high level of proficiency in Cantonese, English, and preferably Mandarin. The ideal candidate will have solid people management experience, be adept at managing a team of investment specialists, and hold RA4 and RA9 licenses. The CIO will be expected to lead the team in day-to-day research activities, deliver client advisory, and build credibility and trust with HNW clients and internal stakeholders.
