Independent Non-Executive Director (Board-level role)

The Company is in search of an Independent Non-Executive Director (INED) with a strong background in supply chain, shipping, logistics, transportation, or related industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing independent judgment on corporate strategy, business performance, risk management, and governance matters, ensuring compliance with Hong Kong listing rules and corporate governance codes, and protecting the interests of shareholders and other stakeholders. This role also involves offering strategic advisory on initiatives, investment opportunities, and market developments, particularly in the areas of supply chain management, shipping, logistics operations, and global trade. Applicants for the INED position at the company must have a proven track record of senior leadership within the specified sectors and, crucially, must have prior experience as an INED of a Hong Kong-listed company. The role requires a deep understanding of HKEX listing rules and Hong Kong corporate governance requirements, as well as demonstrated boardroom experience and the ability to contribute effectively at the Board level. The INED will also be expected to participate in and contribute to various Board Committees, including Audit, Nomination, Remuneration, and Risk Management Committees. Strong skills in risk management, particularly in the context of international trade, and the ability to monitor operational risks arising from global supply chain disruptions, are essential.
