Vice Dean for Academic Affairs

The Company seeks a Vice Dean for Academic Affairs to provide strategic leadership for academic and clinical programs and advance excellence in education, scholarship, and clinical practice. The role oversees program planning, implementation, evaluation, cost-effectiveness, student affairs, faculty workload, and accreditation and outcomes reporting. The Vice Dean collaborates with academic, clinical, and community partners, advises senior leadership, and represents the dean and school as needed. Responsibilities also include supporting faculty development, reviewing direct reports’ performance, and promoting interdisciplinary collaboration. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in nursing or a related field and have current Texas RN licensure or be eligible for licensure. The ideal candidate will be at the associate or full professor level and demonstrate commitment to education, faculty development, research, and clinical practice. Five years of collegiate administration experience is preferred. Strong strategic leadership, collaboration, and communication skills are important for guiding academic programs and working effectively with faculty and stakeholders.
