Vice President & Director of Athletics

The Company is in search of a Vice President and Director of Athletics to lead its intercollegiate athletics enterprise. The successful candidate will be a visionary and strategic leader, responsible for setting and achieving championship expectations across all sports, while ensuring a culture of academic and competitive excellence, accountability, and integrity. This role is pivotal in the company's mission to enhance national visibility, generate and deploy resources strategically, and provide an exceptional experience for student-athletes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intercollegiate athletics, with a proven track record in leadership, financial management, and fostering relationships. They will be expected to navigate the evolving landscape of college athletics, including NIL and student-athlete benefits, and to work closely with the President to build and maintain conference and national relationships. Candidates for the Vice President and Director of Athletics position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' leadership experience in intercollegiate athletics or a related field, with a bachelor's degree required and an advanced degree preferred. The role demands a leader with a sophisticated understanding of the financial, legal, and competitive aspects of Division I athletics, as well as a strong network within the collegiate athletics community. The candidate must be adept at revenue generation, fundraising, and have a proven ability to elevate the national profile of the athletics program.
