Associate Vice President, Quality Engineering Automation Architect Greater Hyderabad, India Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Quality Engineering Automation Architect to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the design and delivery of next-generation quality engineering solutions, with a focus on blending proven testing methodologies with AI-powered approaches. This role involves architecting and owning scalable test automation frameworks, defining and driving QE standards, and partnering with application teams to implement shift-left testing and quality-by-design. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 12 years' experience in software quality engineering, including at least 3 years in test architecture and framework design, and be an SME in AI-enabled test automation engineering. Key responsibilities for this role include designing and implementing AI-assisted testing solutions, driving the adoption of modern automation tools and frameworks, and enabling self-service automation and quality reporting dashboards. The candidate should have hands-on expertise in Playwright and/or Selenium, REST API testing, and modern JavaScript/TypeScript or Python automation frameworks. Experience in AI-assisted testing for various testing types and a strong understanding of AI tooling for test case generation, code review support, and defect triage are essential. The role also requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to influence and align stakeholders. A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Engineering is required, and experience with cloud ecosystems and CI/CD toolchains is a plus.
