Associate Vice President, Site Reliability Engineer, CloudOps Greater Hyderabad, India Area

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President, Site Reliability Engineer - CloudOps to join their technology organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for the reliability, scalability, performance, and operational excellence of mission-critical fintech platforms hosted across various cloud and hybrid environments. This role requires a strong engineering mindset with a focus on automation, observability, and continuous improvement, and demands close collaboration with development, architecture, and infrastructure teams to ensure the reliability of the product lifecycle. Key responsibilities include defining and governing service level objectives, driving engineering practices, leading cloud migration and modernization efforts, and owning incident and change management processes. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years' of hands-on experience in SRE, CloudOps, DevOps, or production engineering roles, with a preference for those within the fintech, banking, or financial services domain. The role also requires a deep expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and experience with containers, orchestration, infrastructure as code, CI/CD tooling, and observability. A practical knowledge of ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management, as well as a proven track record in driving SLO/SLI frameworks and reliability KPIs, is essential. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and the ability to engage with both technology and business leadership. A B.E. / B.Tech in a relevant engineering discipline is a must, and AWS certification is an added advantage.
