The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of executive legal duties within the organization, with a focus on providing legal guidance and support to the agency's leadership and management teams. This includes preparing and rendering legal opinions, assisting in the drafting of legal documents and legislation, and managing agency litigation. The General Counsel will also be expected to oversee the legal division staff, conduct legal research, and ensure that the agency operates within the legal and ethical framework. Applicants for the General Counsel position at the company should have a Juris Doctor degree, be admitted to the Indiana State Bar, and have a minimum of 7 years of legal experience.
