The Company is seeking a Vice President/Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) to lead its philanthropic efforts and play a pivotal role in the organization's strategic growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive development strategies, with a focus on the annual fund, estate planning, and the current capital campaign. This role requires a passionate individual with a proven track record in soliciting and closing major gifts, as well as experience in capital campaign management and planned giving. The CAO will work closely with the President and CEO, the Board of Directors, and the Development Committee to ensure that the Symphony's values and mission are reflected in all fundraising activities. Applicants for the CAO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years' of experience in a related field. The ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation for the arts and a strong entrepreneurial spirit, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of donors. Key qualifications include a history of successful fundraising, proficiency in CRM systems, and a commitment to data-informed strategies. The role also involves team management, collaboration with marketing and education teams, and a focus on innovation in philanthropy. The company is particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity, and a collaborative approach to leadership.
