The Company is seeking a Vice President, Control Manager to play a pivotal role in enhancing the control environment for its home lending division. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and evolution of a robust control framework that supports integrated risk assessment. This includes driving top-down risk analysis, real-time issue detection, and sustainable remediation. The role involves close partnership with key stakeholders to identify control gaps, strengthen processes, and improve transparency into control health. The ideal candidate will have a background in financial services, particularly in controls, audit, compliance, or operational risk management, with a strong knowledge of mortgage servicing and originations processes and related regulatory requirements. Applicants for the Vice President, Control Manager position at the company should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in financial services, with a focus on controls, audit, compliance, or operational risk management. A deep understanding of mortgage regulatory requirements is essential. The role requires the ability to make independent, risk-based decisions, and to lead issue identification, escalation, and remediation. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills are a must. The candidate should be adept at using data, automation, and technology to enhance the control environment and be experienced in leading a team to foster a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and accountability.
