Head of IT

The Company is seeking a Head of IT to lead technology operations in a manufacturing environment. The role oversees hardware, software, and network systems across production and administrative areas, while developing IT strategies that support business goals. Responsibilities include managing system upgrades and technology implementations, addressing technical issues, protecting data, and ensuring reliable infrastructure. The Head of IT will lead a small team, coordinate with other functions and external service providers, and report on IT performance and improvement opportunities. Candidates should have proven experience managing IT operations in manufacturing or another industrial setting, supporting both production and office environments. Strong knowledge of hardware, software deployment, network administration, cybersecurity, data protection, backup and recovery, and compliance is required. The role also calls for project management skills, sound problem-solving, and the ability to mentor a team and collaborate effectively across functions. Experience managing vendors and communicating IT performance and recommendations to senior leadership is also important.
