Executive Director, Strategic Sourcing

The Company is seeking an Executive Director of Strategic Sourcing to lead indirect spend strategy, particularly across marketing and sales, while providing broader oversight of enterprise procurement. Responsibilities include developing category and supplier strategies, using spend analytics to identify opportunities, leading competitive sourcing and complex negotiations, and delivering measurable savings, working-capital improvements, and supplier performance. The role will also establish procurement standards, governance, processes, and performance metrics across direct and indirect spend. The Executive Director will advise senior leaders, partner across business functions, and lead and develop the strategic sourcing team. Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressive procurement or strategic sourcing experience, including five or more years leading indirect spend categories, and a record of delivering measurable financial results. Required strengths include category management, spend analytics, contract negotiation, financial analysis, procurement governance, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives. Experience building procurement standards and developing high-performing teams is essential. A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, operations, engineering, or a related field is preferred; an advanced degree and experience in a regulated industry or procurement transformation are also advantageous.
