Vice President of Clinical Excellence & Innovation Greater Kansas City, MO Area

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Clinical Excellence & Innovation to provide enterprise-wide leadership for clinical quality, innovation, workforce development, and performance improvement across behavioral health services. The role will develop and implement strategies for evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centered care; establish quality measures and systems for tracking outcomes; and lead initiatives to improve access, safety, client experience, and health equity. The executive will guide clinical training and workforce development, support effective use of clinical information systems, and oversee quality assurance, accreditation readiness, and clinical risk management in collaboration with organizational leaders. As a strategic advisor, the Vice President will advance organizational change, build partnerships, and foster a culture of accountability, learning, and continuous improvement. Candidates must hold a master’s degree in a relevant field and independent clinical licensure appropriate to their discipline, with at least 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in behavioral health or healthcare. Required qualifications include demonstrated success in clinical quality, accreditation, performance improvement, outcomes measurement, and workforce development, along with knowledge of evidence-based practices, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards. The role calls for experience leading large-scale change in complex organizations and strong strategic, analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills. Familiarity with multiple levels of care and quality improvement methods or certifications is valued.
