Head of Project Planning & Authority

The Company is seeking a Head of Project Planning & Authority to lead design strategy and planning across a portfolio of property development projects. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and market analysis through planning and authority approvals. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, milestones, and design quality; leading a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, and consultants; and reviewing specifications, tender drawings, and design details to reduce errors and variations. The successful candidate will also ensure planning and building submissions are completed on schedule and meet regulatory requirements. Candidates should have at least 10 years of senior management experience in property development or construction, along with a degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Urban Town Planning, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage. In-depth knowledge of Malaysian property development processes and regulatory frameworks is required. Strong decision-making, leadership, and stakeholder management skills are essential, as are excellent communication and networking abilities. The role also calls for experience coordinating consultants and cross-functional teams.
