Provost & Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs

The Company is seeking a Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs to serve as its chief academic officer and a key member of the institutional leadership team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic vision and leadership to the Division of Academic Affairs, overseeing academic planning, personnel decisions, resource allocation, and ensuring the quality and integrity of academic programs. This role involves close collaboration with the Chancellor, the cabinet, and shared governance bodies to implement the university's strategic plan and address state and system-level mandates. The Provost will also be tasked with attracting, recruiting, and retaining talented faculty and staff, maintaining academic excellence, and strengthening external partnerships to enhance academic opportunities. Candidates for the Provost position at the company should be seasoned and collaborative leaders with a proven track record in promoting academic excellence and student success. An earned terminal degree and a record of distinguished scholarship and teaching are required. The ideal candidate will have a passion for serving all students, a commitment to shared governance, and the ability to lead with transparency, compassion, and a strategic approach to decision-making. Experience in fiscal stewardship, and a strong interest in fundraising and development efforts, are also important.
