The Company is seeking a Chief Data Officer to spearhead a major transformation of its data and analytics capabilities. This senior leadership role is pivotal in modernizing the organization's data estate, enhancing engineering capabilities, and leveraging data more effectively across the customer journey. The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and owning the data strategy, reshaping existing data capabilities, and leading the development of a modern data lake and warehouse architecture. A key focus will be on creating a self-serve data environment and using AI to improve engineering productivity, particularly in the context of the customer onboarding journey. Applicants for the Chief Data Officer position at the company should be senior data leaders with a strong background in technology-led businesses. Experience in building or significantly transforming data functions, as well as a deep understanding of data engineering, architecture, platforms, and analytics, is essential. The role requires a proven track record in creating self-serve data capabilities and the ability to be hands-on with technology and technical details. Familiarity with Azure/Microsoft data technologies and a strong understanding of AI in the context of engineering productivity are highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial services, fintech, or similar technology-led environments and be adept at operating both strategically and with a close eye on technical details.
