Head of Finance

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial management, control, and reporting of the Group. This key leadership role involves providing financial insight to support strategic decisions, maintaining strong financial controls, and ensuring compliance with all financial processes. The Head of Finance will also lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, oversee statutory accounts, and manage relationships with external financial partners. A critical aspect of the role is to lead and develop the finance team, driving a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Applicants for the Head of Finance position at the company should be qualified or highly experienced finance professionals with a strong technical accounting background and a commercial mindset. The role requires significant experience in a senior finance position within an SME or growing multi-entity business, as well as a proven track record in areas such as cash flow management, working capital, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience in property, facilities management, housing, or a similar operationally led sector, and be adept at using accounting software and financial reporting tools. A proactive approach to identifying and addressing financial issues, as well as the ability to challenge and drive accountability for financial performance, is essential.
