The Company is seeking a Head of Pricing for its Specialty division. This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping the pricing strategy across a diverse and complex portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a high-performing team, developing sophisticated pricing models, and providing underwriting insights to support business growth. A key aspect of the role is to work closely with underwriting, exposure management, reinsurance, risk, and finance teams to drive profitability and enhance decision-making. The Head of Pricing will also be involved in strategic planning initiatives and will have regular exposure to senior leadership. Candidates for this role should be qualified actuaries with a strong background in pricing, particularly within the commercial insurance or reinsurance market. Experience with Lloyd's business planning and pricing processes is highly desirable. The role requires a commercially minded actuary with the ability to combine technical expertise with strong stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in evaluating portfolio performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations is essential. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of specialty classes, portfolio management, and actuarial modeling techniques, and be adept at analyzing complex datasets to develop innovative pricing solutions. Experience with stochastic modeling, data analytics, and modern pricing methodologies is advantageous, as is technical capability in Excel and knowledge of analytical tools such as Python, SQL, or Power BI.
