Head of Surveillance Oversight

The Company is seeking a Global Head of Surveillance Oversight to lead independent second-line oversight of its global surveillance framework. The role is responsible for ensuring surveillance remains effective, proportionate, and aligned with regulatory requirements across regions and asset classes. The successful candidate will maintain the market conduct policy and related standards, oversee performance through senior governance forums, and review management information, assurance findings, and remediation progress. They will also provide senior oversight of surveillance matters, apply regulatory judgment to alerts, near misses, and suspicious transaction reports, and ensure monitoring keeps pace with changes in trading activity, products, markets, and technology. Candidates must have previous experience in trade surveillance and the expertise to provide independent second-line oversight. The role requires strong regulatory judgment and the ability to assess surveillance outcomes, identify risks, and support appropriate governance decisions. Experience overseeing surveillance coverage across trading activity and communications is essential. Applicants should also be able to interpret regulatory developments and supervisory expectations and apply them to policies, standards, and monitoring practices.
