Interim Head of Barista Greater London, United Kingdom Area

The Company is seeking a Head Barista to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a variety of hot beverages to the highest standards, ensuring the coffee bar is well-stocked, clean, and tidy at all times, and providing prompt and efficient service to every customer. This role requires a trained Barista with a passion for the art of coffee-making, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage a busy service environment while maintaining high customer service standards. The Head Barista will also be expected to have a strong understanding of merchandising, stock rotation, and cash handling, and to be confident in using tills. Applicants for the Head Barista position at the company should have a Food Safety Level 2 certificate, a Health and Safety Level 2 certificate, and have completed Skillsoft modules including COSHH. A Perkee Barista Level 2 certificate and SCAE Entry Level certification are also required. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years' experience in a service environment, dealing with customers, and possess skills in merchandising, till usage, and allergy awareness. The role demands a professional who is ready to adapt to changing service needs, manage a busy coffee bar, and ensure that the customer experience is engaging and satisfying.
