Interim Head of Finance Operations Greater London, United Kingdom Area

The Company is seeking a Head of Finance Operations to lead the delivery, performance, and continuous improvement of its finance services. Responsibilities include overseeing accounts receivable and payable, service charge and client accounting, billing, collections, supplier payments, and operational close activities. The role will strengthen financial controls and governance, lead and develop teams, and drive process standardisation, automation, and digital transformation. It will also involve managing external service providers, using performance data to improve operations, and providing clear recommendations to senior stakeholders. Candidates should have significant leadership experience in finance operations, operational finance, property finance, or a large shared-services environment. Strong knowledge of service charge accounting and related transactional finance processes is required, alongside experience managing third-party providers and maintaining controls, audit readiness, client money responsibilities, and fraud prevention. Applicants should demonstrate success in process improvement and transformation, strong analytical and stakeholder-management skills, and the ability to balance strategic priorities with hands-on leadership. A collaborative, customer-focused approach, resilience, adaptability, and sound judgement are essential; professional accounting or operational finance qualifications are advantageous but not required.
