The Company is seeking a VP, Fund Services Tax with a strong background in tax advisory to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including major projects, product and service design, tax technical risk oversight, and direct client engagement across the EMEA region. This role requires a professional with a flexible disposition, adept at blending strong tax technical interpretation with commercial pragmatism, and who enjoys working in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include working closely with partners in various functions to execute business unit strategy, engaging with clients and third parties, and leading tax product initiatives in response to new EMEA regulations. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' experience in fund or custody tax, with an excellent knowledge of multiple withholding tax and funds tax regimes across the EMEA region. The role demands demonstrable leadership skills, the ability to influence colleagues in non-tax areas, and strong communication skills to explain complex tax matters in a clear and concise manner. A qualification in tax, law, or accounting is essential, such as CTA, legal qualification, or CA/CPA. The ideal candidate will also have a proven track record in driving initiatives for tax operational process simplification and optimization, as well as experience in standardizing tax presentations and marketing materials from a global and regional perspective.
