The Company is seeking a Vice President, Systems Monitoring Observability and Technical Lead to join their Digital Engineering Services and Solutions team. This pivotal role is focused on becoming the subject matter expert for observability across the EMEA technology estate, with a primary responsibility for a leading observability platform. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of transforming monitoring practices, leading the migration from legacy platforms to modern solutions, and collaborating with diverse teams to ensure comprehensive visibility and operational excellence. Responsibilities include taking ownership of the observability platform, leading the migration from legacy monitoring platforms, and collaborating with various technical teams to enhance service reliability and performance. To excel in this role, candidates must have significant hands-on experience with enterprise-grade observability platforms, particularly in large-scale environments. A proven track record in implementing advanced monitoring solutions across infrastructure, applications, and cloud platforms is essential. The role requires expertise in designing enterprise observability strategies, strong background in service performance analysis, and the ability to troubleshoot complex platform integration issues. Practical knowledge of deploying and configuring observability components, as well as experience in integrating with ITSM platforms, is also necessary.
