About the Role
Greater Los Angeles, CA Area (Hybrid)(Los Angeles, California)
The Company is seeking a Vice President or Senior Vice President to lead hands-on data and analytics engagements. The role involves designing data models and Power BI semantic models that connect operational data to the general ledger, and building financial reporting and KPI frameworks covering financial statements, adjusted EBITDA, working capital, and budget performance. Responsibilities include reconciling and validating results, translating executive questions into reporting requirements, and owning analytics workstreams from scoping through delivery. The successful candidate will set modeling standards, review team work, mentor junior colleagues, and identify practical uses for AI while protecting client confidentiality. Candidates should have at least seven years of combined experience across finance, accounting, FP&A, business intelligence, or analytics, along with hands-on Power BI modeling skills, including DAX and Power Query, and working SQL knowledge. A finance or accounting background—or substantial experience building financial reports—is required, as is familiarity with general ledger structures and how the three financial statements connect. The role also calls for experience working directly with executives or clients and leading or mentoring others. CPA or relevant analytics certifications, cloud and data-platform experience, Python, transaction experience, and ERP familiarity are advantageous.
