Vice President of Applications

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Applications to lead the strategy, delivery, optimization, and support of enterprise clinical and revenue cycle applications. The role oversees the electronic health record platform and related systems, aligning application roadmaps with organizational priorities and ensuring reliable service delivery. The VP will partner with clinical, operational, financial, and technology leaders to redesign workflows, improve care and user experience, strengthen revenue cycle performance, and advance AI, automation, and data-driven capabilities. Responsibilities also include leading application governance and service delivery, managing vendors and complex portfolios, developing a high-performing team, and measuring outcomes across quality, access, productivity, financial performance, and user satisfaction. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in information technology, healthcare administration, business administration, a clinical discipline, or a related field, and have at least 10 years of progressive healthcare IT leadership experience. Significant experience leading clinical applications in a hospital or large health system environment is required, including leadership responsibility for an enterprise electronic health record platform’s implementation, optimization, upgrades, support, governance, or roadmap. Applicants should bring experience transforming clinical workflows, revenue cycle operations, and patient access, along with the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex application portfolios, projects, vendors, and budgets. Strong knowledge of healthcare operations, clinical informatics, interoperability, regulatory requirements, privacy, security, and change management is essential, as is experience applying AI, automation, or analytics to improve operations.
