Interim Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

The Company is seeking an Interim CFO to provide a stabilizing presence during a key period of change. The successful candidate will be responsible for quickly gaining control of the company's financial performance, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, and managing cash flow. This role also involves supporting the board's new strategic direction by formulating a financial plan that aligns with the company's objectives and challenging assumptions with commercial insight. The Interim CFO will be expected to supervise and mentor the finance team, maintain operational efficiency, and collaborate with external stakeholders such as auditors and investors. If appropriate, the role may also include providing a strong handover to the new permanent CFO. Applicants for the Interim CFO position at the company should have the ability to build relationships with board-level internal and external stakeholders, proven financial leadership experience in dynamic environments, and the strategic and commercial skills necessary for a rigorous appraisal of a new strategic plan. A hands-on approach and the ability to thrive in a busy, interim role with clear deliverables are essential. While not mandatory, prior experience in an investor-backed business is considered advantageous. The role is temporary, with a clear six-month contract, and the possibility of evolving into a permanent opportunity.
