The Company is seeking a Chair for the Department of Clinical and Administrative Sciences in the College of Pharmacy. This high-impact leadership role is pivotal in shaping the department's growth and has a broad influence across faculty development, curriculum, research, and external partnerships. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Dean's leadership team to ensure programmatic advancement, excellence in teaching, and the expansion of clinical practice. Key responsibilities include managing department personnel, assigning teaching responsibilities, maintaining an active research program, and mentoring faculty. The Chair will also be involved in the recruitment of new faculty, conducting performance evaluations, and representing the department in building academic partnerships. Applicants for the Chair position must have a PharmD or PhD in social and administrative sciences, with a strong background in pharmacy practice and/or research. The role requires a record of academic experience, success in teaching, research, and leadership, as well as the capacity to mentor and develop faculty. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have academic credentials appropriate for appointment at the rank of Associate or Full Professor and be authorized to work in the United States. The position offers considerable flexibility to engage in research, clinical practice, and teaching, with a focus on active learning and critical thinking. The Chair will also be expected to work with the Office of Professional Affairs to meet the experiential needs of students and the curriculum.
