The Company is seeking an accomplished Associate Vice President, Benefits to lead the strategy, design, and performance of its enterprise medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, and clinical well-being programs. The successful candidate will be a key member of the Total Rewards leadership team, shaping benefit strategies that support the health and well-being of the organization's teammates and their families. This role involves overseeing a comprehensive portfolio of health and pharmacy programs, guiding population health and clinical strategies, and managing critical partnerships with various vendors. The AVP will also be responsible for leading a high-performing team, translating complex healthcare trends and financial considerations into clear recommendations, and ensuring program compliance with federal and state requirements. Applicants for the Associate Vice President, Benefits position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with a Master’s degree and Certified Employee Benefit Specialist certification preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive benefits experience within a large, complex organization, and at least 5 years' of leadership experience, is required. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in self-funded medical and pharmacy plan design, managing pharmacy benefit manager relationships, and a strong understanding of benefit design, network management, and population health analytics. Strong financial, analytical, and critical-thinking skills are essential, as is the ability to influence senior leaders and support enterprise-level decision-making. The role demands exceptional relationship-building, communication, and change management skills, as well as a consultative leadership style and a strong commitment to teammate service and organizational values.
