Dean of the College of Business & Aviation

The Company is seeking a Dean for its College of Business and Aviation. The successful candidate will serve as the chief academic and administrative officer of the College, providing intellectual leadership and fostering excellence in teaching, research, and service. This full-time, 12-month administrative appointment with tenure-track faculty rank eligibility is a key role that involves strategic planning, and budgetary and administrative management of the College's educational, academic support, and ancillary programs. The Dean will be responsible for the academic leadership of the College, including its distinctive programs, committed faculty, and strong industry relationships. Applicants for the Dean position at the company should have an earned doctorate and a professional background in a relevant discipline within the College. The ideal candidate will have a distinguished record of teaching, scholarship, and service, and experience with collegiate business school accreditation processes. The role requires a leader with progressively responsible academic leadership experience, preferably at the level of department chair or higher, and a commitment to the values of a comprehensive, student-centered, state-supported institution. The Dean will be expected to take office in July 2027 and must be prepared to lead the College in alignment with the University's clear strategic direction.
