The successful candidate will be responsible for translating complex client, market, and infrastructure requirements into scalable target operating models, technology solutions, and implementation plans. This includes a comprehensive analysis of market rules, client structures, and service requirements, as well as the design of target-state processes aligned with the Direct Custody Target Operating Model. The role demands a senior business-design lead who can effectively partner with various stakeholders, including product, operations, technology, vendors, and market infrastructures, to ensure a controlled and successful direct-market implementation. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, with a Master's degree, MBA, or professional qualification being advantageous. A minimum of 10-12 years' experience in securities services, custody, post-trade operations, or related fields is required, with a strong background in securities settlement, cash and liquidity, reconciliation, corporate actions, and income processes. The ideal candidate will have practical experience with T2S, European CSD/ICSD models, and a working knowledge of SWIFT settlement and cash messaging. Key responsibilities also include business requirements and technology engagement, testing, operational readiness, and the development of procedures for training and knowledge transfer.
