Chief Financial Officer (CFO), General Construction

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial operations and support continued growth in the general construction industry. The CFO will oversee accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and long-range planning, including work-in-progress reporting, job costing, and percentage-of-completion accounting. The role also includes managing banking relationships, bonding, insurance, audits, and tax coordination; strengthening financial controls and processes; and advising executive leadership on profitability, operational performance, and strategic initiatives. The CFO will lead and develop the finance team and translate financial data into actionable business decisions. Candidates should have at least 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in commercial construction, including executive-level experience with a general contractor. Required expertise includes construction accounting, WIP reporting, percentage-of-completion accounting, job costing, cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting. Applicants should also bring experience with banking, bonding, insurance, audits, and financial compliance, along with strong leadership, communication, and team-development skills. A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field is required; a CPA designation is preferred, and familiarity with construction ERP systems is expected.
