About the Role
Greater New Haven, CT Area
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to oversee the management of its senior living community. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care services, maintaining budgetary guidelines, and leading the community in compliance with all relevant policies and regulations. This role requires a hands-on approach to internal community relations, including the development of resident relations programs, monitoring of nursing services, and daily resident care. The Executive Director will also be involved in facility management, safety programs, and will be the primary contact for resident family conferences. Financial responsibilities include budget development, performance monitoring, and training in cost control techniques. The Executive Director will also be involved in marketing the community and will be the key representative to the public, families, and visitors. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree, current ECC and/or CORE Training certification, and a minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory and management role. Strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, and a passion for working with senior citizens are essential. The role also requires knowledge of current federal and state laws related to senior living communities, the ability to make independent decisions, and a background in financial management. The Executive Director will be expected to lead by example, exhibiting the company's core values through servant leadership, and to ensure a safe and secure environment for all residents and associates.
