Assistant Vice President of Operational Due Diligence

The Company is seeking an Assistant Vice President of Operational Due Diligence to lead the evaluation of operational risks in both public and private market fund investments. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with investment due diligence teams to assess fund managers' operational infrastructure and compliance practices. This role involves leveraging data analytics and AI technologies to enhance risk identification and operational efficiency, as well as contributing to the innovation of due diligence processes and optimizing workflows. The Assistant Vice President will also be engaged in a dynamic, global environment, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across diverse teams. Key responsibilities for the Assistant Vice President of Operational Due Diligence include conducting thorough operational due diligence reviews, managing the due diligence process from scoping to reporting, and monitoring regulatory changes and emerging risks. The role requires the development of AI-enabled solutions for automated document reviews and risk flagging, as well as the ability to communicate findings effectively and provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor of Science degree, with a CPA or CFA preferred, and 5-8 years of experience in operational due diligence, audit, or fund operations. Proficiency in investment operations, risk management, and compliance practices is essential, as is experience with AI tools for due diligence and control-testing workflows, and familiarity with SQL and data integration tools. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are also required.
