Associate Vice President, Facilities
About the Role
Greater New York City, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President for Facilities to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the management of all hard and soft services within the New York complex and off-site storage unit. This includes ensuring that all team members, service providers, and contractors meet deadlines and targets in compliance with health and safety, environmental, and company procedures. The role also involves working closely with the Risk, Security, and Auction Operations departments, as well as initiating and establishing standards for quality and service responsiveness. The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent education, previous senior facilities management experience, and a strong background in property and asset management, building maintenance, space management, third-party supplier management, project management, team management, budget management, and sustainability. Applicants for the Associate Vice President, Facilities position at the company should have a degree or equivalent education, excellent MS Office skills, and a background in senior facilities management, particularly within a multi-property estate environment. Experience in an FM outsource service provider model, workplace and space management, and significant contractor management is essential. The role requires excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, and people engagement skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities. A positive, self-motivated individual with a proactive approach to learning and strong negotiation skills, including stakeholder management, is sought. The candidate should also hold an IOSH managing safely qualification and have experience in managing the conflicting expectations of senior management and consumers. Desirable skills include experience with CAFM/space management software systems, particularly OfficeSpace, and CAD experience.
