About the Role
Greater New York City, NY Area (Hybrid - Headquarter location)
The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff/Deputy Director to join their team as a senior organizational leader and strategic partner. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating strategic priorities into actionable plans, overseeing day-to-day operations, and identifying and addressing organizational challenges. This role requires a mission-driven individual with a strong background in staff supervision, program and project management, and the ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in fundraising and development efforts, supporting the organization's growth and sustainability. Applicants for the Chief of Staff/Deputy Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 5 years' of leadership experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven setting. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in organizational or program growth, strategic partnerships, and strengthening internal systems. The ideal candidate will be an adaptable leader, capable of managing multiple priorities, and will have strong professional writing, communication, and problem-solving skills. Experience in fundraising, grant writing, and a background in public health, health equity, or related community-based issues is highly valued. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
