Executive Director, CIDO Business Operations & Enterprise Portfolio Excellence Greater New York City, NY Area

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead enterprise IT operations and portfolio excellence, aligning technology investments with business priorities and improving delivery speed and quality. Responsibilities include governing the technology portfolio, overseeing demand and capacity planning, tracking benefits and risks, and partnering with Finance on technology cost management and optimization. The role also leads vendor and software asset governance, develops performance dashboards and executive reporting, and coordinates the operating cadence for IT leadership. The successful candidate will advance process improvement and the effective use of generative and agentic AI to simplify and strengthen operations. Candidates should have at least 15 years of progressive leadership experience in IT strategy, technology operations, portfolio management, IT financial operations, or management consulting, including experience with large, complex organizations and technology portfolios. A bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, information systems, finance, operations management, or a related field is required; an advanced degree is preferred. Expertise in ITIL, Lean or Six Sigma, Agile portfolio methods, OKRs, and cloud financial management is expected. Candidates should be skilled in building performance dashboards, interpreting financial and operational data, and presenting to senior executives, with strong enterprise thinking, executive presence, and stakeholder influence.
