The Company is seeking a General Counsel to serve as chief legal advisor to executive leadership and the Board, lead the Legal department, and direct enterprise legal strategy. Responsibilities include advising on governance, commercial matters, litigation, employment law, privacy, intellectual property, insurance, and risk management; overseeing contracts and external counsel; and guiding investigations and fair, consistent administration of organizational rules and disciplinary processes. The role also supports board and committee matters, monitors legal developments, and builds cross-functional relationships to translate complex issues into practical guidance. Candidates should bring substantial executive-level legal experience and deep knowledge of corporate governance, commercial law, litigation, arbitration, employment law, contracts, insurance, and enterprise risk. Demonstrated leadership of legal professionals and experience overseeing compliance operations, investigations, or rules enforcement are required. Strong judgment, integrity, discretion, communication, drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills are essential, along with experience managing outside counsel, vendors, and legal department operations. A law degree and relevant professional legal qualifications are expected; experience with privacy, cybersecurity, technology agreements, and media is desirable.
