Head of AI Architecture & Strategy

The Company is seeking a Head of AI Architecture and Strategy to lead the design and technical direction of a shared AI platform. This hands-on role includes architecting reusable AI services and infrastructure, guiding platform engineering, and establishing standards and design patterns. The successful candidate will assess technologies, shape the platform roadmap, and contribute directly through prototyping, engineering reviews, and implementation guidance. They will also ensure production systems meet security, reliability, observability, and access-control requirements while leading technical teams and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. Candidates should have at least 10 years of relevant engineering experience, including senior technical leadership and hands-on architecture of complex platforms. Strong expertise in Python, LLMs, AI agents, retrieval-augmented generation, model serving, distributed systems, APIs, Kubernetes, containers, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure is required. Applicants should demonstrate ownership of production platforms, sound architectural judgment, and effective stakeholder communication. A related bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required; experience with enterprise AI platforms, agent frameworks, AI evaluation, or financial services is advantageous.
