Vice President, Controller

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Senior Controller to lead operational accounting teams, including corporate accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and lease administration. Responsibilities include overseeing monthly close processes, reviewing workpapers, managing budgets, coordinating annual audits, and ensuring compliance with financial policies and reporting requirements. The role also involves managing liquidity and cash flow analysis, providing financial insights and forecasts to senior leadership, and leading strategic initiatives and technology implementations. The successful candidate will foster a collaborative environment while mentoring and developing team members. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; a CPA is preferred. A minimum of 15 years of accounting experience, including at least 10 years in leadership roles, is required, along with experience in the real estate industry. Applicants should have strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls, as well as proficiency with accounting and financial management systems and advanced Excel skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.
