Vice President, Investment Accounting SQA Automation & Reconciliation Team Manager

Greater New York City, NY Area (Hybrid)
The Company is seeking a Vice President for its SQA Automation and Reconciliation Team. This hands-on leadership role is pivotal in owning the investment accounting automation strategy, execution, and continuous improvement across the suite of applications that support investment accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the team's daily and long-term planning, ensuring the model covers all automation activities for SQA functional testing, and supporting daily and weekly automated reconciliations. The role is integral to the middle office accounting applications, particularly in the outsourcing models where middle office accounting services need to be supported. Candidates for this role at The Company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 10 years' of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation. Experience with investment manager's middle office applications, complex automation models, and a background in C++ and Java applications is essential. The role requires strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as experience in managing large-scale, multi-location projects. Hands-on experience with automation frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, SQL for data validation, and exposure to AI tools for automation efficiency are also necessary. A background in record-keeping platforms and experience with cloud-based testing environments are desirable.
