The Company is seeking a Model Risk Management Expert, Vice President to join their U.S. Model Risk Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that models used within the Americas are fit for purpose and compliant with regional and regulatory standards. This role involves maintaining the model inventory, conducting attestation processes, and leveraging AI-enabled tools to enhance model risk activities. The candidate will also be a strategic partner to the business and support functions, providing advisory to ensure robust model risk management throughout the model life cycle. Applicants should have a minimum of 7 years' experience in first or second line risk management, with a strong understanding of the model life cycle and experience in model validation teams. The role requires a professional with a background in wholesale banking, capable of influencing and working with multicultural teams in a regulatory-driven environment. A deep understanding of the U.S. regulatory landscape and a Bachelor's degree in a related field are essential. The ideal candidate will be well-structured, autonomous, highly adaptive, and a team player, with excellent communication skills and the ability to translate analytics into strategic insights.
