The Company is seeking an Executive Director to serve as the senior administrative leader of its tribal government. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating approved policies and priorities into effective operations, managing responsible budgets, and ensuring measurable improvements in services to the community. This role requires a deep respect for the Nation's sovereignty, culture, and government-to-government relationships, as well as the ability to oversee day-to-day administration, develop annual work plans, and maintain professional impartiality. The Executive Director will also be tasked with financial stewardship, resource development, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and tribal requirements. Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 5 years' of management experience, including direct tribal government administration. The role demands a candidate with a strong understanding of tribal governmental structures, sovereignty, and self-determination, as well as demonstrated experience in budgeting, financial oversight, and personnel management. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in improving citizen services, resolving audit findings, and leading organizational change. Leadership competencies such as sound judgment, integrity, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders are essential. The Executive Director will be evaluated on their performance in these areas and must be prepared to work in a dynamic, administrative environment that may require evening or weekend commitments.
