Associate Vice President of Development

The Company is seeking an Associate Vice President of Development to lead senior fundraising teams and strengthen philanthropic results and operations. The role oversees fundraising strategy, portfolio development, prospect engagement, and performance across assigned units, while coaching and developing senior fundraisers. The successful candidate will manage a select portfolio of major and principal gift prospects and advise on complex donor strategies. They will also support a comprehensive campaign, coordinate cross-unit fundraising initiatives, and collaborate with senior leaders to advance strategic priorities. Candidates must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and at least 12 years of relevant experience, including five or more years in leadership, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong candidates will bring substantial experience in advancement, philanthropy, or complex nonprofit fundraising, with success securing major gifts and leading senior fundraising professionals. The role requires expertise in prospect strategy, portfolio and pipeline management, campaign performance, and data-informed fundraising. Strong communication, collaboration, organizational change management, and team leadership skills are essential.
