The Company is seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission-driven, community-focused organization. The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic direction, ensuring financial strength, and advancing the institution's mission of creating positive economic and social change. This role demands a leader with a minimum of 15 years' executive experience, a strong background in community development finance, and a proven track record in capital formation and impact investing. The successful candidate will be adept at building and sustaining relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, and community partners. They must also have a deep understanding of the public policy and regulatory landscape that influences community development finance. Key responsibilities for the CEO include leading the execution of the organization's strategic priorities, maintaining financial health, and overseeing all lending and investment activities to ensure measurable community impact. The ideal candidate will have a sophisticated understanding of the factors that affect community development finance and be able to identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities. They should be a visible and influential leader, capable of representing the organization at various forums and advocating for policies that support underserved communities. The role also requires a focus on talent leadership, organizational culture, and effective governance, with an emphasis on transparent and accountable decision-making. An advanced degree in a relevant field is strongly preferred, and the candidate should be prepared to lead the organization through a significant leadership transition while preserving its mission-driven culture and fostering growth and innovation.
